Beginner Classes

You don't need any experience playing music to take a beginner class at Louisville Folk School! These classes are designed for the absolute beginner and for those who wish to brush up on the fundamentals of an instrument. If you aren't sure which class you want to take, we recommend simply picking an instrument that interests you and sign up for the beginner class. Any of our classes can be taken as many times as you may need to, so there's never any pressure to move beyond your comfortable pace. Some students enjoy taking the intro class for different instruments each session!
