Born into a musical family in western Kentucky, Scott Moore began playing violin at age four, writing music at six, and singing since before he can remember. He's been a classical soloist with the Louisville Orchestra, Owensboro Symphony, University of Louisville Symphony, and Bourbon Baroque, and toured China twice with the Hollywood Concert Orchestra. Music has taken him to five continents, including a recent trip to Ireland, a performance for the Archduke of Austria, and appearances at the KFC Yum! Center and Carnegie Hall.
Since graduating from music school in 2007, Scott has delved into the vast world of non-classical music, from jazz and bluegrass to country and rock-n-roll. He has recorded and performed with a host of musicians, including Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Waxfang, Rachel Grimes, and Ben Sollee.
