This class addresses that question, offering ample master-level advice on kicking off and ending a song, playing the rhythm role (which you will be doing much of the time), backing a vocalist, and improvising and soloing on unfamiliar songs. Let's uncover the tried and true rules for each of these separate supporting and lead roles your instrument can play, and explore the many options at your disposal to complement the song.
