Learn the essential concepts and skills of classical guitar! This fingerpicking approach includes techniques such as the free stroke, rest stroke, and arpeggios. Topics covered include proper form, notes on the fretboard, and reading standard notation. We will learn several classical guitar pieces and study some of the masters of this extraordinary style.
Prerequisites are experience playing guitar, and knowing common open chords and scales.
This is an adult class open to students aged 13 and up.
