Guitar 3 with Taylor Shuck
A continuation of Guitar 2, we will learn how to play more songs in the flat picking style, and elements of improvisation. We will also begin some finger picking and learn different runs and how to connect chords in guitar backup. It is recommended that students either finish guitar 2, or be comfortable with switching between their basic chords and know how to read tablature.
Guitar 3 will teach:
- how to connect chords with runs
- basic chord theory
- flat picking techniques for soloing and melody
- elements of improvisation
This class requires some guitar experience -- Guitar 2 is suggested as a prerequisite, or the equivalent knowledge of tuning, basic chords, tab, and strum patterns.
