Required materials: diatonic harmonica in the key of 'C', and "Harmonica for Dummies" by Winslow Yerxa (recommended).

Students will need a major diatonic harmonica in the key of C and a desire to learn and have fun playing music! If you are shopping for a harmonica, Jake recommends investing at least $40 into your instrument, as cheaper models are usually difficult to play due to poor manufacturing. Here's a few brands and models that should serve you well for relatively cheap:

Hohner "Special 20"
Hohner "Marine Band"
Lee Oskar "Major Diatonic"
Seydel "Blues Session"
Suzuki "Manji"
