An award-winning instrumentalist, Blakeley Burger has studied fiddle/violin for 15 years, as well as guitar and mandolin. For the past seven years, she has performed regionally as both a soloist and an ensemble member at a range of venues, including: the Kentucky Center for the Arts, the Frazier History Museum, the Norton Center for the Arts, the Lexington Opera House, the Iroquois Amphitheatre, the Brown Theatre, the Station Inn, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Kentucky State Senate. Additionally, Blakeley has performed live on such radio and television programs as Woodsong’s Old-Time Radio Hour, KET’s “Kentucky Life” and “Tim Farmer’s Homemade Jams,” Crescent Hill Radio, Red Barn Radio, Nashville Spotlight, and Music City’s Gospel Review.
Blakeley made her international debut in March of 2018 when she performed as part of a Bluegrass trio at La Universidad del Bosque in Bogotá, Colombia. Blakeley has been honored by the North American Country Music Association, the Tennessee/Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association, and the Twin Lakes National Fiddle Contest. She can be seen touring with Tin Whiskey Sisters or performing locally with Yapa! and Hollow Bone.
Blakeley is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance with a minor in Spanish at the University of Louisville.
