Twin Fiddle with Deborah Payne
This class has both in-person and online options that meet simultaneously. To meet on Zoom, select the online option and an invitation to a recurring Zoom meeting will be included in the orientation email sent upon checkout.
Fiddle tunes, while fun to play on their own, can be even more exciting with a layer of harmony. Learn the techniques of identifying harmonies to standard tunes like Fisher’s Hornpipe and Spotted Pony as well the harmonies of classic twin fiddle numbers including Bill Monroe’s “Wheel Hoss” and Bob Will’s “Silver Bells.”
Through this class you can build out your repertoire of tunes that you feel comfortable playing twin fiddle in a jam session or for a performance.
For intermediate to advanced students ages 12 and up.
