Instructor: Todd Childers

Todd Childers, a Louisville native, discovered his love of old-time music 20 years ago while in pursuit of a Master's degree in Horticulture in Morgantown, West Virginia. The vibrant music and dance scene he encountered there soon led him to the banjo. These days, when not getting vegetables grown on his urban family farm, you'll find him at the old-time jam, playing a dance, or on the back porch picking out a new old tune. He is excited to start teaching banjo at the Folk School!
