Prospective Students

Louisville Folk School teaches private lessons for piano, voice, fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and bass. Online and in-person options are available for most instruments.

Get one-on-one instruction from many of the instructors at Louisville Folk School.

• Private lessons are $30 for 30 minutes or $60 for 60 minutes.
• All lessons must be paid for before they can be scheduled. We charge your card or bank account on file at the beginning of the month for lessons scheduled that month.
  
• 24-hour advanced notice is required to reschedule any private lessons. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will not be rescheduled or refunded. 
• In-person lessons are either at our Clifton location or at the Waldorf School of Louisville here in Kentucky.
• We also offer online private instruction via Zoom.
