Learn to play the banjo in this beginner class. Study the basics of the three-finger picking style pioneered by Earl Scruggs for the 5-stringed banjo. Learn chords, rhythm, and the basic rolls needed to start playing songs right away. Song selection will be weighted towards bluegrass but will also include other genres showcasing all that the banjo can do.
