Jazz Repertoire Overload with Thomas Deakin

Have you taken a Pet Song, Fretboard Walkabout, or ensemble class with me (Thomas Deakin)?  Are you looking for a crash course overview of basic jazz standards, harmonic analysis, practical musical moves, and the chance to play through tunes with others?  In Jazz Repertoire Overload we'll look at two or three songs per class, blitzing through harmonic analysis of each, and spending most of the class playing through the forms over and over again.  There will be lots of small chords, improvisation, singing, humming, working on rhythm and feel, and explorations of a great selection of tunes you can play with your friends. 

This is an adult class open to students aged 13 and up.
