This camp is for kids who love to sing! Join Julia Purcell and Julia Carpenter for a memorable week full of music-making as we learn folk songs from around the world, songs from Appalachia, current pop songs, jazz and blues, musicals, and rock 'n roll. Each day, campers will experience music-making through group singing, improvisation, songwriting, musical games, movement/dancing, mindful listening, and playing instruments. The camp will include a balance of structured large and small group activities, with free play on the playground, as well as plenty of quiet downtime and classic camp crafts.
Singing campers will be split into two age groups, with a maximum of eight students who are rising 2nd and 3rd graders and twelve students who are rising 4th through 6th graders. Please select your child's age range above before adding this camp to the cart.
On Friday afternoon, campers will share what they’ve learned with their caregivers at our camper showcase!
