Songs from Trio with Julia Purcell
Do you love the songs of Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton or Linda Ronstadt? If so, you will love singing songs from their 1987 album, Trio. Join me as we dive into this timeless album to explore gems like; “Wildflowers”, “My Dear Companion” and “Farther Along”.
Classes will consist of vocal warm ups, vocal instruction, listening to recordings, learning melodies and 3 part harmonies, small & larger ensemble singing. Instruments are encouraged, but not necessary for this class. Over the eight week semester, we will learn between 8 and 10 songs.
This is an adult class open to students aged 15 and up. All genders welcome.
