Wilco Repertoire with Ian Thomas

This class is for people who love the band Wilco! You will learn a handful of their songs, and discuss what makes Wilco "one of those bands that stands for something.” The priority of this class will be about having a good time in a low-pressure environment. We’ll start with a straightforward Wilco song, and after that, follow the interests of the class. In addition to learning and playing the music, each class will take some time to discuss how the music is arranged, why it is arranged that way, and basic theory as needed.

The ability to play common chords and easily transition between them is recommended. The School is an aural learning environment, so while the instructor will provide lyric sheets and chord charts, the ability to read sheet music is not required.

All singers and acoustic instrumentalists are welcome.

This is an adult class open to students aged 13 and up.
