Yapa! (a Quechua [Peru/Ecuador word: "a little something extra"] is a high energy Latin band that combines cumbia, Andean folk, funk & rock’n’roll to make a unique flavor of highly danceable grooves, with original songs and familiar tunes. Audiences are a mix of folks from around the world who find community in deep grooves, and a message that speaks to the immigrant experience within the human experience. A Yapa! dance floor is a space where people come together to celebrate our beautifully diverse world.
Turtle Mountain String Band features siblings Levon, Maple, and Avett Harvey from Winchester, Kentucky. These rising young musicians were inspired by their time at Cowan Creek Mountain Music School to form their own band. Winners of the youth band competition at the 2025 Clifftop Appalachian Stringband Festival, they perform lively old-time and Kentucky fiddle music.
